this is a good option, or should I wait and try and sell my own car and get a cobra or get a Mach 1?

[EDIT] Here is the Mach and Cobras I'm looking at

2003 Black Cobra

2003 Silver Cobra

2003 Mach 1 Mineral Grey

I paid 27k for my premium GT manual with 11,000 miles 1.5 years ago

A mustang GT rental car will have been hooned without care on many an occasion, but that's cheap... reluctant NP

I know its more then likely been hooned, but whats stopping me from keeping the hooning up. I have a laundry list for my other GT (sadly my dad doesn't want to add anything till the factory warranty is over ) So I will apply all the parts that I want to that one

It's not a bad price.

But it has an automatic. So I'm not inclined to like it.

Understandable, but for someone who has only driven a manual once ot twice in his life, this isn't a bad option.

And before you judge, I have never had the opportunity to drive a manual.

Don't worry. Whenever you get the opportunity to really learn the way around a stick, it's generally not too bad. But I get the appeal of automatics.

Having had an 03' Mustang, I'd be inclined to jump on the 03' Mach 1. Especially for that price.

I don't know what it is about that generation of Mach 1, but that is hands down my favorite model/trim/color/transmission. But that is a sharp 2011, excluding the potential rental car issue.

Tough choice. Realistically, I might lean towards the 11' just because it's the newer of the two and better quality. But it really comes down to preference.

I had autotrader alerts set to $23k for 2011+ manual mustang GTs. I had to turn off the notification because it became too common. $21k is where they're getting to.

Ya, my father grew up where all he was able to get was sticks and was like they are fun, but a POS in traffic, hills and weather.

You driver to Virginia and get this one for a cheaper price, with less mileage, and a touch screen nav.

The Mach 1 is a nice car but the 03-04 Cobra is in a completely different league. 390whp stock means that it'll be faster than the '11 mustang, and that can be turned up to 500whp with bolt ons.

The company my parents work for have done a lot of work with Enterprise car sales and believe it or not they are well maintained, serviced and checked regularly. The cars they sell are in actually in fantastic condition, you get 7 days to bring it back if you're unhappy and they've got a decent warranty/service contract you can get.

I am thinking about going this route when I get my car and wouldn't have thought to try Enterprise until my parent's job started working with them and finding out how much they actually maintain the cars.

Not sure if this is a nationwide thing but I know from time to time they have incentives for trade ins like an extra $1000 on top of KBB value, just something to keep in mind if you're looking to part ways with your old car.
